I have been playing trumpet for over 40 years, and currently play in church, two Community Bands, and a Big Band. I also
play in pit orchestras for local musical theater productions as often asI can. I am not a professional player (far from being talented enough), but I am a dedicated amateur who loves to play.
About a year and a half ago, I was put in contact with Doug Teeter regarding a trumpet I was looking into (from a custom builder). While talking with Doug, he mentioned that he was the distributor for a relatively new brand of brass instruments to the USA, Carol trumpet. Since that time, I have had the pleasure of working with Doug Teeter on several purchases. I am currently the proud owner of a Carol CTR-500T trumpet, a CCR-388R cornet, a CPT-300LR pocket trumpet, and am awaiting the arrival of a new CFL-620R flugelhorn. I have also had the opportunity to play several other CarolBrass trumpets, and each one has been a well crafted instrument.
I just wanted to say “Thank You” to Mr. Lee and his wife, as well as to all of the Hoxon Gakki employees for creating such beautiful playing instruments, that are also beautifully made. I show them to my friends and fellow band members, and each person who plays them comments on the excellent quality of the horns. I should also mention that it has been a great pleasure working with Doug Teeter. I do not hesitate to give his name and contact information out to my friends who are
interested in the CarolBrass horns.
Well done! Thank You!
